After school Harte is the boys cross country coach in the fall and girls track coach in the spring. “ My favorite thing about Harte is probably his work ethic, he has all of us on the team working hard everyday, and we need that to be successful at meets,” Grace Fox Freshman track runner. Harte started running himself at a very young age along with playing hockey but it was clear running was his true passion and what he was best at both competing and coaching.

Along with track and cross country Harte teaches Algebra, and Russian. Before teaching HArte worked in Russia after the fall of the soviet Union in 1991 on several joint U.S.- Russian projects where he became even more fluent.Harte in the classroom is awesome, he’s always helpful and encouraging you to do your best I think being a coach helps you become a better teacher. I really also like his teaching style . He is very patient, but does not allow you to not get stuff done. His class has a very safe and encouraging learning environment,” said, Nathan Mcdermott Freshman in Hartes Algebra class.

Mr. Harte is one of my personal favorite parts of my day and I find him to have a very interesting past. He is very talented at what he does and i believe all of his students and athletes are very appreciative of him including me.

I decided to add this to my portfolio because i enjoyed writing about Mr. Harte. I also thought i had the best resources and interviews out of any of my other pieces. As a whole I believe this was one of my better pieces.
